Shaun Larry Helmer, born in Springfield, MA, and raised in Chicopee, MA, has been passionate about building since childhood—picking up tools almost as soon as he could walk. In 2005, he moved to Palm Coast, FL, seeking a fresh start for his family and career. After years in construction, he founded SLH Construction on December 17, 2020, embodying his core values: honesty, fun, and reliability. Owning a construction company comes with challenges, but for Shaun, the rewards far outweigh them. He encourages younger generations to master a trade, ensuring a lifetime of opportunities. Outside of work, he enjoys life on his farm with his fiancée and animals, riding his motorcycle, camping with loved ones, and even hitting the slopes for a day of skiing.
